Vice-President greets people on the eve of Dussehra

New Delhi: Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.

 

In a message Naidu said that the festival of Dussehra symbolised the victory of good over evil and added that we need to constantly quell the demonic forces and foster goodness and harmony.

He expressed hope that the festival would bring peace, harmony and prosperity to our country and the world.

"I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra," he said in his message.

Celebrated with great fervor and zeal all over the country, Dussehra symbolises the victory of good over evil.

Dussehra is a celebration of the pious and principled path exemplified in the life and deeds of Lord Rama.

The festival reminds us that we need to constantly quell the demonic forces and foster goodness and harmony.

This Dussehra, let us aim to tread a path that gives us peace and prosperity, a path that gives the entire humanity greater happiness and fulfillment.

May this festival bring peace, harmony and prosperity to our country and the world.
