WhatsApp restored after long global outage
Messaging application WhatsApp has been restored after it suffered an outage for more than an hour Tuesday.
The news of getting WhatsApp down started coming from around 12:45 pm.
Meta, which owns WhatsApp, has apologised for the outage that prevented its users from availing the service across the world.
Several users had switched to other social networking sites for texting and staying connected online.
Twitter users have started sharing memes on the micro-blogging site with #whatsappdown.
