Yashwant Sinha criticises SC decision on Ayodhya but asks Muslims to move on
Mumbai/IBNS: Former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha has said the Supreme Court judgment on Ram Janma Bhoomi-Babri Masjid title case is faulty but the Muslims should accept it and move on, media reports said.
Speaking at Mumbai Literary Fest on Sunday, Sinha criticized the apex court's decision was wrong and full of mistakes but appealed to the Muslim community of the country.
"Let's move on. There is no judgment above the Supreme Court's decision," the bureaucrat-turned-politician said.
He also claimed that BJP leaders like Lal Krishna Advani were initially remorseful over the demolition of Babri Masjid, but later took credit for the Ram Mandir agitation.
