Yoga Day: Delhi Metro services to begin from 4 AM

New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI): To facilitate public in reaching to various venues of International Day of Yoga celebrations in the national capital, Delhi Metro services will begin from the terminal stations of all lines from 4 AM on Friday. 

Trains will run with a frequency of 30 minutes till 6 AM, a DMRC spokesperson said on Thursday.

Normal services will resume thereafter.

The thrust of the International Day of Yoga observation on June 21 is on harmonious mass Yoga demonstrations, in which millions of people participate, at thousands of venues.

Ministry of AYUSH is the nodal Ministry for observation of International Day of Yoga across the country and to ensure that Yoga demonstrations of such large groups take place in a harmonious fashion.
