Yogi Adityanath cuts public holidays in state
Lucknow, Apr 25 (IBNS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday cancelled 15 public holidays in the state which mark anniversaries of eminent personalities.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister - the minister in-charge of general administration and human resource - moved a formal proposal before his Cabinet.
Most of these holidays were introduced by the Akhilesh Yadav government.
UP is the first state to slash holidays.
