Actor Sanchari Vijay no more

Bengaluru/UNI: National film award winner and sandalwood actor Sanchari Vijay, who was undergoing treatment for injuries suffered in a road accident, passed away on Monday.

Sanchari Vijay was declared as brain dead by the doctors after which his family decided to donate his organs.

His brother Siddesh said the brain stem had stopped functioning, so 'we decided to donate his organs.'

'Sanchari Vijay always believed in serving the society and we are donating his organs,' Siddesh said.

Sharing the news, sandalwood actor Sudeep tweeted 'very disheartening to accept that Sanchari Vijay breathed his last. Met him couple of times just before this lockdown , all excited about his next film that is due for release. Very sad. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.'
