Actress Malaika Arora discharged from hospital

Mumbai: Bollywood actress and model Malaika Arora was discharged from hospital on Sunday after being hospitalized from suffering injuries in a car accident a day ago.

Arora was kept under observation for the night and was discharged on Sunday morning.

Malaika's sister and fellow actress Amrita Arora came out with a statement confirming, “She is home; recovering. She will be totally fine in a few days.” Amrita said.

She met with an accident on Saturday.

“Malaika Arora Khan met with an accident on Mumbai Pune Highway. She has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai for treatment She has some minor injuries,” the Apollo hospital said in a statement.

According to reports, the television personality was taken to Apollo Hospital in Mumbai, where she had undergone a CT scan on Saturday.

According to reports from the hospital, "Malaika has minor injuries on her forehead; CT scan has turned out fine and she is currently okay."
