Mumbai, Jan 18 (IBNS): Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is set to play the eponymous lead in Sanjay Dutt's comeback film Bhoomi.

Directed by Omung Kumar, Bhoomi is a revenge drama.

Confirming Aditi's participation in the project, business analyst and Bollywood movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Search is over... Aditi Rao Hydari is #Bhoomi. Yes, she is the lead in Sanjay Dutt's comeback film. Directed by Omung Kumar."

Reacting about his comeback movie, Sanjay Dutt was quoted in the media as saying, "I have been looking for scripts that went beyond my screen persona. I wanted to do something vulnerable yet powerful. 'Bhoomi' is an emotional and sensitive drama that explores the relationship between a father and daughter."
