Amitabh Bachchan admitted to hospital, undergoes angioplasty: Report

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan was on Friday admitted to Kokilaben Hospital where he underwent angioplasty, The Indian Express reported.

Bachchan, 81, went to hospital with complaints of shortness of breath.

An official statement by the actor's PR team is yet to arrive.

On the work front, Bachchan is busy shooting for Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD.

In 2023, Bachchan was injured during the shooting of Kalki 2898 AD. He was injured during an action shot.

Kalki, a fantasy drama, features actors Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead.
