Amitabh Bachchan unveils first look character poster of his upcoming movie Uunchai ahead of his 80th birthday

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan released the first look of his upcoming Bollywood movie Uunchai  just ahead of his birthday.

He will be seen playing the character of Amit Shrivastava in the movie.

Uunchai is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films.

Sharing the first look poster, Bachchan wrote on Instagram: "This one from @rajshrifilms is special ..Meet me as Amit Shrivastava in #Uunchai on 11.11.22 .. This film by #SoorajBarjatya celebrates life and friendship .. Save The Date for @uunchaithemovie."

 The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Sarika.

It is scheduled for theatrical release on Nov 11.
