Kolkata/IBNS: Indian actress Raima Sen is gearing up for the release of her next film 'Vaccine War' which is directed by filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.

The film focuses on bioscientists of India and the creation of the Covid -19 vaccine. It follows the endless support the medical fraternity showed towards saving people’s lives during the pandemic.

Speaking to IBNS about the film, Raima said, "You’ll see me in a different light and it is a very different kind of film which I’m sure will grab a lot of eyeballs."

"…People have unfollowed me saying you're doing a film with propaganda… so for me to say yes to this film was quite bold...," Raima says on facing backlash for choosing this film.

'Vaccine War', which was originally scheduled to be released on August 15, is likely to hit the big screens on Dussehra.

The film will be released in 11 languages including Hindi, English, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Assaamese.

The popular Tollywood actress, who is a well known face in Mumbai, spoke on the film while launching Giva Jewellery's 50th store in Kolkata.

Throwing light on the collection of jewellery, the actress said, "I like simplicity.. They have very pretty ring pieces, matching necklaces, and solitaire types, tiny, comfortable, wearable pieces for a daily basis."
