Baywatch actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff dies by suicide in Hollywood Hills residence at 62

Baywatch actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff has died after committing suicide at her US home in Hollywood Hills on March 5, media reports said.

She was 62.

Bach was found at home in the Hollywood Hills on 5 March after she died by suicide, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office was quoted as saying by BBC.

Pamela Bach was the former wife of US television actor David Hasselhoff.

According to reports, they met while shooting for the TV series Knight Rider and decided to marry in 1989.

They later worked on the Baywatch TV series.

The couple got divorced in 2006.

"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff," Hasselhoff said in a statement as quoted by BBC.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that family members had not heard from her and wanted to check on her out of concern when they went to her house, which was locked.

The sources said they discovered her in the house.

Paramedics were called after discovering her when she was pronounced dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, TMZ reported.

No suicide note was found at the scene.

David Hasselhoff reacts

Actor David Hasselhoff said he was deeply saddened by the death of his former wife.

"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.  We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time," he told TMZ.

Pamela and David share two daughters together.

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff's feels shocked

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff's representative Sharon Kelly said she was shocked by the death of the actress.

Sharon Kelly told TMZ, "I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a 'Force of Nature'.She will be missed."

Pamela's last Instagram post

In her last Instagram post, Pamela conveyed her 'Happy New Year' wish to her followers.

She wrote in her Instagram post:" Happy New Year, everyone! As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, 🩷London🎀. Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing. My wish for all of you this year is health, happiness, and an abundance of love. May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold. Here’s to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!"
