Bipasha Basu turns 38

New Delhi, Jan 7 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu on Saturday thanked her fans for wishing her on her 38th birthday.

"Overwhelmed with all your love and wishes for me. Thank you. I am very grateful ," the actress tweeted.

A former model, Basu made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with Ajnabee opposite Akshay Kumar. Her portrayal of a negative character earned her a Filmfare Debut Female award.

Born in 1979 in New Delhi, Basu takes active interest in fitness and have also launched various fitness DVDs.

Though she has acted in a string of commercially successful movies, with Dhoom 2 being her highest grosser, Basu garnered praise for her role in late filmmaker Rituporno Ghosh's Bengali movie Sob Choritro Kalponik.
