Each of the actors is featured in the film, Moonlight, which is nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, as well as the Academy Awards for Cinematography, Directing, Film Editing, Music (Original Score), Writing (Adapted Screenplay). The event marks the first red carpet wardrobing for the brand since Raf Simons was appointed Chief Creative Officer.

Naomie Harris, who is nominated for the Academy Award for Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in the film, wore a Calvin Klein By Appointment white strapless sequin dress. Harris also wore Fall 2017 CALVIN KLEIN sunflower suede sandals with asymmetrical crystal straps.
Rhodes wore a CALVIN KLEIN midnight navy wool single-breasted notch lapel tuxedo with white poplin dress shirt and black satin tie.
Sanders wore a CALVIN KLEIN black wool double-breasted pique lapel tuxedo with white poplin dress shirt and black satin tie.
Hibbert wore a CALVIN KLEIN black wool pique lapel tuxedo with white poplin dress shirt and black satin tie.
