Dangal earns Rs. 100 crores in Mumbai circuit

Mumbai, Jan 17 (IBNS): Superstar Aamir Khan's latest released movie 'Dangal' has earned Rs. 100 crores in Mumbai circuit since it was released across India last month.

"#Dangal [Week 4] Fri 1.94 cr, Sat 4.06 cr, Sun 4.24 cr, Mon 1.37 cr. Total: ₹ 371.48 cr... Crosses ₹ 100 cr in Mumbai circuit alone. SUPERB!," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Dangal has emerged as one of the most successful movies in Indian film history.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is a biopic on India's foremost wrestling family, the Phogats.

It stars Aamir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra as wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively.

Dangal released on Dec 23, 2016 in India.
