Dangal's stronghold continues at the Box office

Mumbai, Jan 4 (IBNS): Aamir Khan's Dangal has maintained its position at the top of the box office charts and is a favourite to emerge as the highest grosser of 2016.

The movie has raked Rs 295 crore so far.

"#Dangal [Week 2] Fri 18.59 cr, Sat 23.07 cr, Sun 32.04 cr, Mon 13.45 cr, Tue 10.46 cr. Total: ₹ 295.14 cr. India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER," business analyst and movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it stars Amir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra as wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively.

Dangal released on Dec 23, 2016 in India.
