Deepika Padukone bags Stardust and Star Guild Awards for Piku

Mumbai, Dec 26 (IBNS) With the award season kick starting, actress Deepika Padukone has become the undisputed actress of the year for Piku. k

Deepika, who has delivered excellent performances this year with Piku, Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani has bagged the Best Actress award at Big Star Entertainment, Stardust and Star Guild Awards. What is interesting is that all the three awards are for her phenomenal performance in Piku.

With Piku, Deepika touched the hearts of many with her realistic performance as a Bengali Daughter. She played her character so well that people started addressing her as Piku even after the release. That has also happened with the other two characters that Deepika played this year, Tara and Mastani.

All in all, Deepika did not only conquer the hearts of audiences with her strong act but also bagged awards for the same.
