Dharmendra admitted to hospital

Mumbai, Dec 20 (IBNS): Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been admitted at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, media reports said on Tuesday.

He was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Monday after he complained of uneasiness and pain.

"Apparently, the senior actor has been unwell for a few days and he has been diagnosed with a serious gastroenteritis," The Indian Express reported.

Dr. Vishesh Agrawal of Nanavati Hospital was quoted as saying by the newspaper: "Dharmendraji was brought to the hospital on Monday as he was experiencing uneasiness and is being treated for Gastric upset. We are observing him, and he is responding to treatment well and should be discharged in a couple of days.”

He recently celebrated his 81st birthday.

The yesteryear action star is known for his performance in movies like Sholay, Hukumat, Loha , Aag Hi Aag , Watan Ke Rakhwale, among others.
