Greek web series Maestro in Blue, which had a successful run on Netflix, is set for a return with its third season in December.

Quite contrary to its previous seasons, the series will have only four episodes in the third edition.

The first episode of the series will be launched exclusively on MEGA on December 2.

The other three will be launched consecutively on MEGA on December 3, 4 and 5.

Maestro in Blue, which is the first Greek series to be streamed on Netflix, will be available on the digital platform in Greece and Cyprus from December 3.

The web show will be streaming on Netflix worldwide from December 28.

The series begins with a troubled musician- named Orestis- visiting the island of Paxos to organise a local music festival.

Orestis meets Klelia, a 19-year-old girl with whom he falls in love.

As a murder takes place, Orestis' journey in Paxos turns complicated with the uncovering of multiple social issues like homophobia, domestic abuse and corruption in the island.

Christoforos Papakaliatis and Klelia Andriolatou played the protagonists, the musician and his love interest.

When asked about whether a fourth season is in the plans, Christoforos, who is also the writer and director of the show, said he now desires to get some rest but he is open to a new season, reported tovima.com.
