Jacqueline Fernandez extends help amid COVID-19 crisis by feeding people in need

Mumbai: Bollywood knows how to support people when crisis arises and Jacqueline Fernandez joined the brigade by feeding people in need at this hour of COVID-19 pandemic.

Jacqueline shared images on Instagram where she could be seen feeding the needy people.

'We only live once! Let's make this life worth it by helping others in need and sharing the #storiesofkindness of those around us!," she captioned the images.

India is witnessing a massive COVID-19 crisis at present.

India has registered 4,14,188 new Covid-19 cases within the past 24 hours, marking the largest daily increase since the start of the outbreak, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

With this, the cumulative tally in the country has reached 2,14,92,198.

Within the same period, the death toll has risen by 3,915 to stand at 2,34,083. More than 17.61 million patients have recovered since the start of the epidemic.

According to the Ministry, the active cases rose by 78,766 in the last 24 hours and is being pegged at 21,491,598,

As many as 3,31,507 were discharged taking the total number of recoveries in the country to 1,76,12,351.

Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that a total of 29,86,01,699 samples have been tested so far for coronavirus. Out of this, 18,26,490 were tested in the past one day.
