Janhvi Kapoor hospitalised due to severe food poisoning

Mumbai: Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor has been admitted to hospital after she fell ill due to severe food poisoning, media reported.

Janhvi was admitted to South Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital on Thursday, indianexpress.com reported, citing a family source.

Jhanvi returned from Chennai to Mumbai on Tuesday. The next day, the actor decided to cancel all her appointments and stay at home as she was not feeling well. On Thursday, her condition worsened, requiring immediate hospitalisatio,according to indianexpress.com.

According to the report, the actor is likely to get discharged next week.

Janhvi Kapoor has had a hectic schedule, as she attended various events during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand wedding.

She is also busy with the promotional activities for her upcoming film "Ulajh."

In the film, she plays Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner entangled in a conspiracy during a crucial assignment at the London embassy.

The cast also includes Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria.

She is also making her Telugu debut Devara Part 1 alongside Jr NTR, for which she has been shooting since May.
