Mithun Chakraborty-headlined Shontaan's first poster out

Kolkata/IBNS: The first poster of veteran Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty starrer upcoming Bengali film Shontaan was unveiled by the makers- SVF- on Thursday.

Apart from Mithun, the film features Anashua Majumdar, Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, Kharaj Mukherjee, Sohini Sengupta and Ahona Dutta.

Raj Chakraborty, who directed the film, delves deep into the delicate fabric of family relationships, crafting a story that captures the unspoken bonds, generational divides, and heartwarming connections between parents and children. 

The film’s poster, which was released on Thursday, sets the stage for a dramatic courtroom conflict, bringing together an extraordinary ensemble cast.

In the poster, audiences catch a glimpse of a father-son clash, with Mithun Chakraborty and Ritwick Chakraborty standing on opposing sides.

Tollywood A-lister Subhashree Ganguly plays the resolute lawyer caught in the crossfire, hinting at an intense, heartfelt narrative bound to touch on themes of familial duty and emotional connections. 

The film is set to release in theatres in December.
