Mumbai, Jan 30 (IBNS): Filmmaker Karan Johar on Wednesday dismissed speculations that actress Alia Bhatt has been approached for Dostana 2.

Karan said no one has been 'officially approached' for Dostana 2.

"For the record.....NO ONE has been officially approached for DOSTANA 2!!!! Some thoughts and ideas are underway but nothing official has moved," he tweeted.

Dostana 2, the sequel to the 2008 romcom Dostana, has been on the news for a long time now.

However, Karan's tweet officially put an end to all questions around the movie.

Dostana had featured Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the lead roles.
