Poonam Pandey dies of Cervical Cancer at 32

Mumbai/IBNS: Model-actress Poonam Pandey passed away of Cervical Cancer at the age of 32 on Thursday night, media reports said.

A post put up on Poonam's Instagram profile reads, "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to Cervical Cancer."

"In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared," the post reads.

Later, her team confirmed the news to News 18.

Poonam, who began her career as a model, caught the audience's glare with her bold pictures on social media accounts.

She came to the spotlight after promising to strip if India wins the 2011 Cricket World Cup.

In 2012, she posed nude after Kolkata Knight Riders won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title.

Some of her films are Nasha, Adalat, The Journey of Karma.
