Pratyusha was pregnant, had abortion before death

Mumbai, Apr 19 (IBNS): TV series 'Ballika Vadhu' famed actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who committed suicide earlier in the month, was pregnant and had probably undergone an abortion not long before her death, doctors at JJ Hospital has confirmed.
The report surfaced following a histopathological examination of tissues from the uterus.
 
This angle may have given another twist to the case.
 
Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide in Mumbai on Apr 1.
 
She was known for her performance as Anandi in TV serial ‘Balika Vadhu’.
 
The actress was taken to Kokilaben Hospital where she was declared dead.
 
She was 24 when death came.
