Prosenjit Chatterjee and Anirban Bhattacharya's upcoming Bengali film gets a new director. Details inside

Kolkata/IBNS: Soumik Haldar has replaced Rahool Mukherjee as the director of Prosenjit Chatterjee and Anirban Bhattacharya starrer upcoming Bengali film, which is yet to be titled.

Rahool has taken up the role of creative producer of the film.

 

Prosenjit and Anirban, who blew the audience's mind with their chemistry in last year's Durga Puja release Dawshom Awbotaar, will feature in a new avatar in the film, which is produced by SVF.

Apart from the two, veteran actor Rajatava Dutta, actresses Aparajita Adhya and Priyanka Sarkar also play pivotal roles in the film. 

Prosenjit and Anirban played cops in Srijit Mukherji's Dawshom Awbotaar, which was a prequel to the director's Baishe Srabon and Vinca Da.

Soumik Haldar's last directorial film is Abar Bibaho Obhijaan, which released in 2023.
