Proud moment for Avika Gor, actor is excited to represent India in Namaste Vietnam Festival
Mumbai: Avika Gor has been invited as a special guest at Namaste Vietnam Festival which is going to happen in August.
The actor who will be debuting in Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt's 1920- Horrors of the heart will be representing India at the festival. Excited for this honour and privilege, Avika shares her feelings.
“This festival is going to be very interesting. I am representing India, which is a huge responsibility. At the same time, people have really loved the characters that I had done. It has been aired there. It is a good opportunity to go and interact with people and the media present there. It is something I’m looking forward to,” she says.
Avika has quite a fan following in Vietnam. “My last two visits to Vietnam were really amazing. I got to be in Ho Chi Minh city, where I visited a lot of news channels and gave a lot of interviews promoting my shows. I also did a lot of activities where I had to interact with my fans. It just made me realise that there are a lot of people around the world who really recognise, love me and appreciate the work that I do. It is my responsibility to work harder and it inspires me every day,” she adds.
The actor is making her debut in Bollywood at a time when her popularity overall is on the rise. Avika smiles before adding, “Yes, now that my Bollywood debut 1920-Horrors of the Heart is coming and I’m going there with a lot of famous people, so it’s a good and bigger opportunity this time. And, I am really looking forward to the whole experience this time as well.” Avika Gor was the first actress to be felicitated with face of the year in Vietnam and has even attended Cannes Film festival for her short film "Ankahee Baatein".
