Mumbai, Mar 25 (IBNS): Breaking hearts of his fans, actor R Madhavan on Sunday confirmed that he will not be a part of upcoming Bollywood movie Simmba.

"Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost.," Madhavan tweeted and stated his injury as the reason behind taking the decision.

Filmmakers Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar have signed Sara Ali Khan to be his leading lady in his next directorial venture.

Sara Ali Khan will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh who plays the role of a notorious cop named Sangram Bhalerao.

Simmba marks the debut collaboration of Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar and undoubtedly the fresh leading pair of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan.
