Rana praises Akshay Kumar for choosing 'excellent stories' for movies

Mumbai, June 16 (IBNS): Southern actor Rana Daggubati has praised Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for the stories of his films.

" And this is I am waiting for!! Sir @akshaykumar what excellent stories you choose to tell. Always inspiring!! ," Rana tweeted.

Rana made the comment while praising the promo of Kumar's latest sports-based movie Gold.

Gold is centred on India's first Olympic Gold Medal win as a free nation in 1948.

The sports drama film is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Faran Akhtar.

The film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Mouni Roy.

Gold will hit the big screens on Independence Day on Aug 15.
