Ranveer does not fear being judged

Mumbai, June 6 (IBNS) Most of us know Ranveer Singh as a superstar who exudes confidence and charms on an all with his uncanny wit and sense of style.

For us he is the effervescent, bold and crazy style guru who can transform into any onscreen character, captivate our minds and leave us asking for more.

There’s not one, not two but a million shades of this young powerhouse that unfold an element of surprise each time he appears on screen. Known to tread unconventional paths, Ranveer has not only broken all Bollywood stereotypes but his progress also sends out an inspirational message to all us – the one of acceptance.

The young actor who won our hearts as the loveable Bittoo Sharma in Band Baaja Baaraat recently spoke about how he felt out of place during the initial years of his career and tried to conform to pre-existing norms. He revealed that the turning point of his life was the superhit ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and it was then that he gained the confidence to accept himself for the way he is and stopped holding back.

The actor said: “I realised that I didn't have to be cagey with my humour or hold back my natural wit. Maybe, earlier I was just apprehensive about the way people would react to me. Slowly, I liberated myself from that fear of judgement so I could express myself freely. Now I do what I want, say what I want and wear what I want.”

While we’ve been thanking SLB for bringing forth Ranveer’s demi god avatar in Ram-Leela, looks like Ranveer too has a lot to thank him for.
