Ranveer Singh the chameleon

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS) In an industry where every big star is trying to cash in on his last successful screen avatar, Ranveer Singh thrives on his versatility.

Right from his first film to his latest, the star actor has been able to create a new character with a new look in each of his movies. That's why people still remember him from Band Baaja Baaraat and can't have enough of him in the trailer of Dil Dhadakne Do.

After the fun and casual look of Bittoo Sharma in his debut flick, Ranveer had switched a suave and slimy con man in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.

Then he completely deconstructed his image by playing the quiet and calculating romantic Varun in Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera. Next it was back to his wild and rustic self playing Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Romeo in Ram-Leela. Then came the macho but dripping with passion Bikram in Gunday. Kill Dil's Dev was sculpted in boyish charm. And now Dil Dhadakne Do has Ranveer play Kabir, who from the trailer seems like a mix of nice and naughty, playful yet romantic.

It's really rare to find an actor like Ranveer who works so hard to make each and every character stand out, in terms of look and in terms of presence. Here's to many more Ranveers in the coming years.
