Ranveer Singh's 83: New poster featuring Jiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth released

Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Ranveer Singh's '83' has been in the news ever since director Kabir Khan announced that he is going to make a movie based on Indian team's iconic 1983 World Cup victory in England.

Now, makers of the movie have unveiled a new poster featuring actor Jiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth.

Jiva can be seen playing the stylish shot in the poster.

Ranveer, who will play the character of Kapil Dev in the movie, shared the poster and tweeted: "IT’S CHIKA, MACHA !!! The Swashbuckling South Indian Strokeplay Sensation! Presenting @JiivaOfficial as #KrishnamachariSrikkanth! #ThisIs83 @kabirkhankk @deepikapadukone @Shibasishsarkar @madmantena #SajidNadiadwala @vishinduri @ipritamofficial @RelianceEnt @FuhSePhantom."

The movie is set to release in April.
