Right time to build something new, feels Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra

Mumbai, Oct 7 (IBNS) Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was invited as a guest speaker for an IIM-B annual event.

On the final day of the event, the maverick Filmmaker witnessed a packed auditorium for an interactive session.

The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag director walked the audience through a montage of trailers and excerpts from 4 of his films. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra also spoke about the evolution of the cinema industry over the years, as one that has been heavily influenced by our society.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra added, “We are now at a place, from where we can build something new – in terms of cinema, in terms of society”.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra had a great time at the summit. The summit involved 220 delegates representing over 70 countries and 6 committees.

Currently the filmaker is busy with his upcoming film 'Mirziyan'
