Shah Rukh Khan grooves to Chaiyaa Chaiyaa at his 57th birthday event

Fans roared and cheered as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan danced to his iconic song, Chaiyaa Chaiyaa, at an event hosted to celebrate his 57th birthday on Wednesday night.

At the event, Shah Rukh, who is known for his humour and energy, apparently looked no older than the age at which he grooved to the number on top of a running train alongside Malaika Arora in the 1998 film Dil Se.

Later, the actor cut a three-tier cake wearing a jacket with the name of his upcoming film Pathaan printed on it.

He also raised his arms for his signature pose leading the crowd to cheer.

After greeting his fans outside his Mumbai residence Mannat on Tuesday midnight, the massively popular Indian star on Wednesday walked into the open space of his house to thank the huge crowd that patiently waited to see their favourite star.

Sharing a picture with his fans on Twitter, Shah Rukh wrote, "It’s so lovely to live in front of the sea…..the sea of love that spreads all around me on my birthday….thank u. Grateful for making me feel so special….& happy."

On the work front, Shah Rukh is set to return to the silver screen after four years with Siddharth Anand's Pathaan, whose teaser was unveiled on Wednesday.

The film, which stars popular actors Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead, is slated for Jan 25, 2023 release.
