The highly anticipated sequel of the defective detective Gora is streaming now on hoichoi!

The first season of the show garnered immense admiration and positive feedback from viewers. After the release of the Trailer of Gora 2, creator Sahana Dutta and director Joydeep Mukherjee have already received tremendous love and support from the audience.

The narrative begins with a scenario where Shreyashi (Ushashi Ray) visits Gora with an intriguing case. Where her sister has committed suicide, and the daughter has also died along with another kid in their house after having symptoms of blood vomiting.

Meanwhile, another case lands at Gora’s door from the owner of a Nursing home, where they have been witnessing the death of multiple people post falling from the stairs. While investigating Gora finds a peculiar connection between the cases.

There’s another addition back in Gora’s house, Arna (Manali Dey) a very polite and cordial woman who joined them as a nurse to his mother who has recently gone through an eye operation. Gora being himself doesn't like Arna a lot.

While there exists a different crisis back home Gora focuses on getting to every house that reported a child’s death and finds out that these were all girl children, only to connect the dots back to his home for answers.

Commenting about the experience of playing a character like Gora, Ritwick Chakraborty mentioned, "Gora holds a special place in my heart as it symbolises a character I have never portrayed before! Personally, I thoroughly enjoy bringing this character to life on screen. The overwhelming love and support received during the first season has been extraordinary, surpassing significant milestones. Consequently, after much contemplation, I conceived the notion of a detective afflicted by forgetfulness. Typically, detectives are portrayed as solemn figures, but I wanted to introduce a defective detective. This gave birth to the idea of "Gora." Following the resounding success of the first season and the overwhelming love received from the viewers, we are thrilled to now present the second season Gora. It unravels a fresh mystery filled with captivating twists and turns. I can confidently assert that the audience will embrace it with the same fervour they had for the inaugural season."
