Tom Cruise is back with Top Gun: Maverick, trailer out now

Los Angeles, July 19 (IBNS): Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise will be back on the silverscreen this time with his upcoming release in 2020- Top Gun: Maverick.

More than 30 years since Tom was launched as a global superstar, he will be once again seen in the direct sequel to 1986's Top Gun.

This movie is directed by Joseph Kosinski, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Tom Cruise, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger with screenplay written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, Christopher McQuarrie and Eric Warren Singer.

The movie stars Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, and Ed Harris.  

Top Gun: Maverick takes place 34 years after the original film. Maverick is the new flight instructor of the Top Gun school, and guides Goose's son to become a pilot.

The trailer of the movie was unveiled on Friday.

The movie is set to release on July 26, 2020.
