Veteran actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay returns to shooting floor with 'Abhijaan'

Kolkata/IBNS: Veteran Bengali film actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay on Tuesday returned to the shooting floor after a long break owing to Covid-19 pandemic.

The Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner resumed his shoot with actor-director Parambrata Chattopadhyay's Bengali film 'Abhijaan'.

The shooting was halted on Mar 17 for the imposition of the anti-Covid lockdown.

Actors Jisshu U Sengupta and Debshankar Haldar were also present for the shoot which happened at Jodhpur Park and Tapan Theatre here.

The crew will be shooting three days a week now and the entire shoot is scheduled to wrap up by the first week of August.

Abhijaan is directed by Parambrata and produced by Rataan Shree Nirman & Roadshow Films Pvt. Ltd.
