Kolkata/IBNS: Sunday will see aspiring singing stars contesting for a space in the upcoming musical reality show for kids, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs.

Last year, the show gave India a variety of talented artists, such as winner Sughandha Date, Anjali Gaikwad, Sonakshi  Kar and everyone’s favourite ‘Chote Bhagwaan’ Jayas Kumar.

Inviting participation from young talented singers of Kolkata, Sonakshi Kar said, “The show has taught me the real meaning of singing and has helped me understand the finer technicalities and nuances of the art. The knowledge and exposure that I have gained with my stint in the show is priceless. I request all the talented little singers to come forward and enthusiastically participate in the auditions.”

She also said, “The experience one gets from the auditions are invaluable and one if rejected should not feel dejected but improve themselves and apply again next year.”

Besides Kolkata, auditions are slated to be held at Chandigarh, Indore, Patna, Jaipur, Nagpur, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai.
