13th edition of the Eastern India Amateur Golf Feeder Tour kicks off from Bhubaneshwar

Bhubaneswar, Sept 19 (IBNS): The 13th leg of the Eastern India Amateur Golf Feeder Tour, also known as the Bhubaneshwar Amateur, is all set to take place in the Bhubaneshwar Golf Club starting from the Sept 20.

The two-day tournament will have 45 players teeing-off competing to claim the leading position on the order of merit of the tour. The golfers are all set to play 36 holes each, teeing off at 9.30am on both days.

The field will have players like Armaan Parikh, Kurush Heerjee, and Sandeep Yadav who have been the top contenders in the Amateur category.

In the Ladies category, Anisha Agarwalla and Geetika Ahuja have been the recurring names in the tour constantly. Anisha Agarwalla is leading the order of merit of the respective category.

Satya Ranjan Pattanaik and Kanhai Prasad from the Mid-Amateur category will be seen competing as well.

Vivek Kumar Rana and Ranadeep Moitra from the Senior category, and Pradip Das and H. Tikendrajit Singh from the Super Senior category have been familiar names on the contending list.   

The weather as on the practice round today was bright and sunny. Hence the weather can be hoped to be in favor of the golfers tomorrow.

The Bhubaneshwar Amateur tournament is supported and hosted by Bhubaneshwar Golf Club. The tournament is co-sponsored by Medica Hospitals and Reliable Group, and has Rush Fitness as the fitness partner, Radio One as the radio partner, Balaji Ads as the outdoor media partner, Rare Rabbit as the clothing partner, Golfsale.in as the online retail partner, Champ for Life as the education partner, Upgame as the stats partner, Level Seven as the hospitality partner, and Golftrade.net as the media partner.
