Abhinav Bindra to quit after Olympics

New Delhi, June 10 (IBNS): Iconinc Indian shooter Abhinav Bindra on Friday announced he will retire after the 2016 Olympics.

He will be the flag bearer for the nation at the Olympic Games.

"To be the flag bearer at the Olympic Games is an athletes ultimate honor.I am humbled & grateful to be considered worthy of this great honor," he tweeted.

Making the important announcement, the Olympic medal winner said: "As my sporting career which lasted 20 years draws to a close on the 8 th of August , this is indeed special."
