Atlético de Kolkata to have new home at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium for Hero ISL 2016

Kolkata, Aug 21 (IBNS): ISL side Atlético de Kolkata, champions of the inaugural Hero ISL season and last year’s semi-finalists , will create a new fortress at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium as they prepare to begin their campaign for year 2016.

The club will start the campaign  under the newly appointed Head Coach José Francisco Molina.

Kolkata’s Rabindra Sarobar Stadium built in 1961, has a capacity of 22,000.

The stadium will hear the thunderous roar of the football loving city as it is set to witness Hero ISL 2016 action on Oct 2 when the host ATK will take on defending champions Chennaiyin FC.
