London, June 2 (IBNS): Bangladesh beat South Africa by 21 runs in the Cricket World Cup here on Sunday. This was South Africa's second consecutive loss in the tournament.

Riding on Mushfiqur Rahim (78) and Shakib Al Hasan (75)'s graceful knocks, Bangladesh posted 330 runs for the loss of six wickets in a World Cup match against South Africa on Sunday.

Shakib Al Hasan (42) and Mahmudullah (46) made crucial contributions with their willows.

Phehlukwayo, Morris and Imran Tahir shared two wickets each.

South Africa showed promise with skipper du Plessis scoring a spunky 62 and Markarm (45), der Dussen (41) and Duminy (45) chipping in. But it was not enough to catch up with the big target set by Bangladesh.

At the end of 50 overs, South Africa finished 309 losing eight wickets.
