Trinidad, Apr 11 (IBNS): Bangladesh bowler Mehidy Hasan Miraz will be playing in the upcoming edition of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR).

He will replace Australian Brad Hogg.

"Australia’s Brad Hogg will no longer be available for the 2017 season. TKR have replaced Hogg with Bangladesh’s off-spinning all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who will be making his tournament bow," read the CPL website.

Miraz, 19, has played in seven Test matches and made his One-Day International (ODI) and T20i debuts in the recent series against Sri Lanka.
