CWG Birmingham: Indian weightlifter Achinta Sheuli clinches gold medal in 73 kg category

Birmingham: India clinched its third gold medal in the ongoing Birmingham Commonwealth Games on Sunday when 20-year-old Achinta Sheuli broke the Games record by lifting a total of 313kg to win the yellow  medal in the men's 73kg category event here.

Malaysia's Erry Hidayat Muhammad finished the event with the silver medal.

Canada's Shad Darsigny won bronze.

India's Jeremy Lalrinnunga clinched the yellow medal in the men's 67kg category on Sunday.
