Gurkirat Singh romps home to Kolkata Juniors title
Bibek Sardar took the second place at 154 while Udayjit Bhalotia was placed third a further two strokes behind. Overnight co-leader Kunal Naidu couldn’t build on the promising first round as he wilted away under pressure to card a disappointing nine-over 81 for fourth place and the duo of Anmol Mahajan and Md. Rohit took the share of the fifth place at 158.
It was Devansh Chadha improved massively on his previous round with a score of two-over par 74 to take the Category B honors. He was followed by Rajib Ali six strokes behind at 165 and Tapas Sardar in third a further thirteen strokes behind.
Souvik Nayak cruised to the Category C title by seventeen strokes with a gross of 158 and was followed by Joysurjo Dey and Kaushal Bagrodia in second and third places at 175 and 176 respectively.
Suveer Kapoor came tops after being locked in an intense battle with Manhar Bajoria for the Category D event while Rakshik Basu was third eighteen strokes behind.
In the Girl’s events, Sushnata Deb won the Category A&B while Adreeja Ghosh won the Category A title. Chitrangada Singh came out tops again with a score of 170 in category C followed by Smriti Bhargav. Karishma Samadder won the Category D event over Tarushi Jain.
Rishi Biswas won the Category E with a two day total of 89 followed by Anshul Mishra four strokes behind at 93.
