IPL 2019: Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians in a close match by 4 wickets
Mumbai, Apr 13 (IBNS): Rajasthan Royals made a come back in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by defeating Mumbai Indians by four wickets at the Wankhede Stadium here on Saturday.
In reply to Mumbai's 187/5, Rajasthan took 19.3 overs to reach the target.
Jos Buttler, who scored 89 off 43 balls, was the chief architect of Rajasthan's win.
Skipper Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson contributed 37 and 31 respectively. But it was Shreyas Gopal's unbeaten 13 towards the end that helped the visiting team to win the match which went down to the last over.
Krunal Pandya had the best bowling figure for Mumbai. He picked three wickets for 34 in four overs.
Earlier, Mumbai batsman Quinton de Kock scored 81 off 52 balls. The home team skipper Rohit Sharma scored 47.
