Ahmedabad, May 15 (IBNS) Delhi Daredevils' performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) continued to slide down as it suffered 62 runs defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals here on Thursday.

After posting 201 for six on the scorecard, Rajasthan bowlers restricted Delhi to 139 for nine in 20 overs.

Losing wickets at regular intervals, Delhi's run chase never took off well.
Bengal lad Manoj Tiwary was the lone fighter for the side in the innings as he remained unbeaten at 61 off 44 balls. He hit five boundaries and two sixes in the knock.

The rest of the batsmen could not reach the 20-run mark.

After Manoj, it was Mayank Agarwal who was the second top scorer for the side with his 17.

Rajasthan bowlers delivered well in the match with Rajat Bhatia picking up two wickets by giving away 18 runs in his three overs.

Earlier, Rajasthan batsmen scored 201 for six in 20 overs.

Ajinkya Rahane top scored for the side with his 64.

Kevon Cooper (32) and Sanju Samson (40) made some good contributions with their willows.

It was James Faulkner , whose ruthless 8-ball 23 runs, that made a huge difference at the end.

His innings helped the side post the score past 200-run mark.

Shahbaz Nadeem and Imran Tahir took two wickets for Delhi.
