Kohli calls win against Pakistan as one of the biggest
"Probably one of the biggest in my career so far," Kohli said after the match.
Virat Kohli played a gutsy 107 -run knock in the match as an all-round India defeated Pakistan by 76 runs in the high-voltage clash.
"Amazing way to begin our World Cup. Big game against Pakistan. Expectations are going to be there when you do well for your country. I just look to stand up to them because I hate to lose and play passionately," he said.
"The support has been magnificent. We expect the same throughout the tournament. Too loud at times for MS to catch our attention," he said.
Riding on a big knock of Virat Kohli, India beat arch rivals Pakistan by 76 runs to register a spectacular win in their World Cup encounter at Adelaide.
With their batsmen surrendering one after another, Pakistan were far away from the 301 run target India set for them riding on a scintillating century of Virat Kohli (107). Pakistan were all out for 224 runs in 47 overs.
