Kohli crosses 5 million followers on Twitter

New Delhi, Jan 2 (IBNS) Indian Test team skipper Virat Kohli has crossed 5 million followers on micro-blogging site Twitter on Friday.

Thanking his fans, Kohli tweeted: "Wow that was a quick ride to 5 million! Great start for the new year. Thank you all for making it possible :)"

Kohli will be the captain of the Test side against Australia in the last match of the series.

With one more match left, Australia won the series 2-0 after drawing the last Test of the series.

Kohli was made the captain of the side after MS Dhoni announced his retirement from cricket on Dec 30.
