Mamata Banerjee wishes India team for clinching Asian Champions Trophy

Kolkata, Oct 30 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday congratulated Indian team for clinching the Asian Champions Trophy by beating Pakistan in the final clash.

Banerjee tweeted: "Congratulations Team India hockey team for wining Asian Champions Trophy #ACT2016 in Malaysia. Great victory. We are all very proud of you."

India beat Pakistan 3-2 to lift the Asian Champions Trophy here on Sunday.

India had last won the trophy in 2011.
